Dear @groovybruce we wrote a cheesy advert for our horrible band
'Alternative music fans!
The musical equivalent of being hit in the face with a half brick; Saltwater Injection make downright dirty noise-punk.
Described as the 'nicest pair of deviants your ever likely to meet', Saltwater Injection are a squealing bass and pounding drum combo, hailing from the industrial wasteland of Ellesmere Port - they have been making music together for as long as they can remember, probably longer in all honesty.
They trust their unique bass, drums and noise based sound only to one another and as such, it has been honed to a level of pure aggressive ear bleeding filth in their claustrophobic and legendarily mind altering song writing sessions.
Saltwater Injection have graced the stage alongside Electric Eel Shock, Anthroprophh (Ex- The Heads), Blitz Kids, Ash Is A Robot, Dead Wolf Club, Kid Karate and played the main stage at ‘Out Of The Ashes Festival 2014’ to name but a few accomplishments.
Their live shows have gathered quite the reputation; being described as 'Bleach-era Nirvana spitting out Black Flag covers' and 'sonic deftones youth dirty, (they) make a fucking racket' by popular online blogs. You can be sure the crowd will always be bombarded with plenty of political anger and perverse pseudo-sexual audio pleasure.
Having already layed down demo recordings with Chris Fielding (Electric Wizard, Conan, Napalm Death, The Damned) and with a single and EP planned for late 2014 this noise duo are just getting started.
You ain’t never heard anything that sounds like Saltwater Injection - unless you listen to Saltwater Injection.
Metal Feed Machine V Saltwater Injection
Noise duo Saltwater Injection from Ellesmere Port, UK speaking to metalfeedmachine.com about their musical influences and the local music scene.
‘This song is called Spunk. Can you guess what it’s about?’ Suggested the next act on the main outdoor stage. Saltwater Injection, a two-piece pair of bastards who are so local they probably walked here from their cesspit hovel on some run down industrial estate in Ellesmere Port. They played it Sonic Deftone Youth dirty, which is how it should be played, by making a fucking racket.
Buy, was a song about having to buy things, while Cameron is A Cunt is about David Cameron being a cunt… and we ALL knew the words!
Their set went down as well as the liquid we consumed… We were drunk on cider and saltwater… Great combination.
